How to Use

Basic Concept

Simple Sheet calculates values line by line. Each row consists of a Label, an Operator (+, -, ×, ÷), and a Value.

Calculation Modes & Controls

Tap the mode button to switch the calculation reference or state.

• 🏠 Base Number: Calculates using the "Base" number at the top of the sheet.
• 🔗 Chain: Calculates by carrying over the result from the row immediately above.
• % Percentage: Calculates a percentage of the reference value.
• ⏸️ Pause (Exclude): Temporarily excludes the row from the calculation. Useful for testing different scenarios or keeping reference numbers without deleting the row.

Share & Export

Simple Sheet allows you to send calculations exactly as they are.

• 📱✉️ Share: Generates a text summary of up to 3 rows of progress and a URL to restore the calculation (*Valid for 30 days). The recipient can review or edit it for their own use.
• 🔳 QR: Displays a QR code on the screen. Have someone scan it to instantly share the sheet, or scan it with your PC to view it on a larger screen.

Data Save & PC Integration

💾 Data Save: Save calculation data (title, rows, memo) locally on your device. The free version allows up to 3 saves. Pro users can save an unlimited number of sheets. Note: Data is saved strictly on this browser/device and cannot be transferred via cache clearing.

💡 PC Integration Technique: Tap "Share" on your phone and paste the URL into a cloud-synced app (like Google Keep or Notion). Click the URL on your PC to open the calculation in your desktop browser instantly.

Pro Features 💎

• 📝 Clickable URLs in Memos: URLs written in the memo area become clickable links.
• 📋 Copy All: Copies all calculation data without omission. Generates a "Restore Link" with data directly embedded, making it non-expiring for long-term saving. Pasting this into Excel automatically creates a 3-column table. It's also useful for feeding calculations into AI (like ChatGPT).

Importing Data

Usually, opening a shared URL automatically restores the sheet. For manual restoration, paste the dedicated data text generated by "Copy All" into the Import menu. The app will extract the data and restore it even if greetings or other text are included.

Q: Do I need to create an account?

A: No. Simple Sheet can be used without registration or login.

Q: What is the difference between the Free and Pro versions?

A: The Pro version removes the sheet storage limit and adds advanced export and import features for backup and long-term storage.

Q: Can I use Simple Sheet offline?

A: Yes. Calculations, editing, and local saves work offline. An internet connection is only required when generating or opening shared links.

Q: Does my saved data sync across my phone and PC automatically?

A: No. Saved data is stored locally in your current browser. To move a sheet to another device, use the Share URL or scan the QR code.

Q: I cleared my browser cache and my saves disappeared. Can I restore them?

A: Unfortunately, no. Because data is stored in your browser, clearing your cache will delete your local saves. For important sheets, we recommend generating a Share URL as a backup, or upgrading to Pro to use the non-expiring "Copy All" link.

Q: How long do shared links remain active?

A: Standard shared URLs are valid for 30 days. Pro users can use the "Copy All" feature to generate a special link that contains the data directly within the URL, which never expires.

Q: Is it safe to input sensitive information?

A: Shared links can be opened by anyone who has the URL. We strongly advise against entering highly confidential or personally identifiable information into the sheet.
